  1. Take 3 1/2 lb chicken pieces
  2. Take 8 cup chicken broth

Use a food processor, pastry blender or two knives, cut in the butter until it is the size of very small peas and distribute throughout the dry ingredients. Add water and knead 8-10 times. If too sticky, add more flour. Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness. Bring broth to a boil and drop in dumplings. Reduce heat to simmer. Cook 10 minutes. Ladle broth and dumplings over chicken.
