  1. Prepare Spong Cake****
  2. Make ready 2 eggs
  3. Prepare 2 ounce flour

  5. Prepare 1 tsp vanilla extract

  7. Take 1 litter Milk
  8. Take 4 tbls vanilla custard powder
  9. Make ready 1/2 cup cold milk
  10. Get 1/2 cup cream
  11. Get 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  12. Get 1 cup whipped cream
  13. Get 1 cup Fruit cocktail
  14. Take Green food colour
  15. Get Sprinkles
  16. Get Silver pearls
Steps to make Pakistani Trifle:
  1. To make song cake, take a bowl add eggs and castor sugar in it and beat till double in size, now add vanilla extract and beat again.
  2. Stiff flour in eggs mixture and fold lightly. When the batter is ready take 2 tbls of batter in other bowl and mix green colour in the 2 tbls cake batter.
  3. Pour the vanilla Spong batter in cake mould and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 180°.
  4. To make custard, in saucepan add milk, let it boil. Stir vanilla custard powder in cold milk.
  5. After boiling milk add sugar and cold custard milk in the boiling milk and cook till the custard thicken.
  6. When custard cool down mix half cup cream in the custard.
  7. Cut the Spong cake in to half and set in the bowl now soak the Spong cake with fruit cocktail syrup.
  8. Spread whipped cream and fruit cocktail, add custard over the layer of cream and fruit cocktail.
  9. Again set the spong cake soak with syrup again cream and cocktail and last add all the vanilla custard.
  10. Decorate the sides with whipped cream, sprinkles and silver pearls.
  11. To make flag, add green colour in 2 tbls of cake batter and make rectangle on baking pan with the batter. And bake at 180° for 10 minutes.
  12. Make Moon and stars with whipped cream and place the cake flag in center of the Trifle.
